AI Content Labelling

Correct labelling of AI-generated content and chatbots under Art. 50 of the EU AI Act. From €700.

The AI Act and the related European Code of Practice introduce new transparency requirements — users must be able to tell when they're interacting with a chatbot rather than a human, and when content (text, image, audio, video) has been generated or significantly altered by AI. The requirement covers marketing materials, customer chatbots, generated images, and many other cases most companies haven't yet considered.

We review where AI-generated content is used in your communications and implement correct, compliant labelling — before you're asked to prove it during an inspection.

Especially relevant for marketing and advertising agencies working with AI-generated visuals, and for companies whose chatbots could easily be mistaken by customers for a real human agent.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to label every text written with AI assistance?

Not every case requires explicit labelling — it depends on context and the degree of autonomy in the generation. We make exactly this assessment as part of the service, so you neither over-label nor miss a genuinely required case.

Does this apply to my website's chatbot too?

Yes — if users could reasonably assume they're speaking with a human when they aren't, this falls directly under the regulation's transparency requirements.
