AI Act Consulting
Risk classification of your AI systems under the EU AI Act and a concrete written compliance plan. From €1,500.
We determine whether and how the EU AI Act applies to your product or business. The service starts with risk classification of each of your AI systems across the four levels set out in the regulation — unacceptable risk, high risk, limited risk, and minimal risk — and continues with a concrete plan of what steps you need to take based on the result.
For high-risk systems we produce a list of the documentation required under Annex IV, a risk management plan, and recommendations for human oversight. For limited-risk systems we focus mainly on transparency obligations — for example, informing users they are interacting with AI. The result is a written report you can show to a partner, investor, or a regulator during an inspection.
You save weeks of reading unclear regulatory text and the risk of a wrong self-assessment, which can cost far more than the consultation itself. Many clients come to us after already attempting a self-assessment — and discover they missed a key detail that completely changes the risk category.
The process runs in three steps: an initial conversation mapping every AI system you actually use or build; a technical and documentation review of each one; and a final report with a clear classification and a concrete action plan, prioritised by urgency.
Frequently asked questions
Who is this service for?
For any business that builds its own AI, or simply uses off-the-shelf AI tools (ChatGPT, Copilot, automated candidate screening, credit scoring, etc.) in daily operations. You don't need to be a tech company — the AI Act also applies to ordinary businesses that merely use such tools.
How long does classification take?
A basic classification of 1-2 AI systems typically takes 5 to 10 working days, depending on the system's complexity and the availability of internal documentation. More systems or complex high-risk cases require more time, agreed individually.
What happens if my system is classified as high-risk?
You receive a concrete compliance plan — which documents to prepare, what processes to introduce, and by when. If you prefer ongoing support instead of a one-off report, the Documentation Support service continues the work on a subscription basis.
Can the results be used in a legal dispute or inspection?
The report documents our methodology and findings step by step, making it a technically defensible basis for such a review. For the legal assessment and representation itself, we work with a prepared team of partner lawyers we can refer you to if needed.
